from the fourth of july celebration

 

i was trying out my fireworks setting on my camera. pretty interesting, though not what i expected.

i learned from my brother (the chemist) that purple fireworks are the hardest to make. remember flame tests in high school chemistry lab or the chemistry teacher putting pure sodium in water? kind of makes me want to be a chemistry teacher..
